I can observe the tongue body as swollen. There are red spots on the tip of the tongue and a line running through the tongue to the tip of tongue.The coating seems to be thin whitish and wisp of yellow in the back of tongue. If I can be bold to diagnose this tongue,(it is a mix condition) it might be 'heart fire' syndrome and dampness with heat in the patient's body. This person has probably problems with sleep , has a ruddy facial complexion, maybe he or she has a tendency to consume or overconsume greasy hot food,feeling restless or nervous, abdominal distention after eating, feeling hot or sweaty nervousness, palpitations. The coating of the tongue and line running to the tip of tongue is a result of heat and the tongue body is result of dampness.
