Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Doctors diagnose their patients by the symptoms which are presented to them and will prescribe herbal formulas (or acupuncture, tui na, diet changes, …) based mainly on these symptoms and less on the western diagnosis.

A doctor of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) will treat the western diagnosis of endometriosis in many different ways depending on the symptoms of their patient. Some patients that have endometriosis will have painful periods while others will not have painful periods!

These two patients would receive very different treatments (different herbal formulas) because their symptoms differ from one another. Womens health can be greatly improved with traditional Chinese medicine. Natural herbs, acupuncture, diet and lifestyle changes which TCM doctors are trained in promote health and wellbeing in both women and men.
