The main functions of this TCM herbal formula is to clear damp heat in the lower jiao, cool liver heat and move blood.  This traditional chinese medicine formula is very effective in treating leucorrhea (vaginal discharge) due to damp heat.

Indications and Symptoms for Zhi Dai Wan

Profuse yellow or brown vaginal discharge, sticky vaginal discharge, strong odour to vaginal discharge, smelly loose stools, yellow urine

Tongue – sticky yellow coating (at root of tongue), possible red body

Pulse – slippery

Zhu Ling   (Sclerotium Polypori Umbellati, Polyporus Sclerotium) 6g.

-drains dampness

Fu Ling   (Sclerotium Poriae Cocos, China Root, Poria, Hoelen) 6g.

-drains dampness, promotes spleen Qi

Che Qian Zi   (Semen Plantaginis, Plantago Seeds) 4.5.g

-drains dampness, clears heat

Ze Xie   (Rhizoma Alismatis Orientalitis, Water Plantain Rhizome, Alisma) 6g.

Yin Chen Hao   (Herba Artemisiae Yinchenhao, yinchenhao shoots and leaves, capillaris) 4.5.g.
