Medicinal Ingredients of Zheng Ye Cheng Qi Tang

Xuan Shen (Radix Scrophulariae, Ningpo Figwort Root, Scrophularia) – 30g.

Sweet, salty bitter, cold, clear heat in blood, nourish yin, relieve toxicity, soften hardness

Mai Men Dong (Tuber Ophiopogonis Japonici, Ophiopogon Tuber) – 24g.

Sweet, bitter, cold, moisten lung, nourish stomach yin, moisten intestines, clears heat

Sheng Di Huang (Radix Rehmanniae Glutinosae, Chinese Foxglove Root, Rehmannia) – 24g.

Sweet bitter cold, clear blood heat, nourish yin, cools heart fire

Da Huang (Radix Et Rhizoma Rhei, Rhubarb Root and Rhizome) - 9g.

Bitter, cold, clears heat from blood, purge accumulations, invigorate blood, drains damp

Mang Xiao (Mirabilitum, Mirabilite, Glauber’s Salt) – 4.5g.
