The main functions of this TCM herbal formula are to clear blood heat, stop bleeding and to nourish the yin fluids.  This traditional chinese medicine formula is best suited to be used in conditions of blood heat causing spotting or bleeding between periods due to blood heat.

Indications and Symptoms for Qing Re Gu Jing Tang

Flooding blood, before period should begin, or trickling blood for a long time after the end of the period, bright red or dark red menstrual blood, red face, thirsty, agitation, general feeling of heat, dark yellow urine, constipation

Tongue – red, yellow coat

Pulse - rapid (thin if deficient heat)

Huang Qin   (Radix Scutellariae Baicalensis, Baical Skullcap Root, Scutellaria, Scute) 4.5g.

Shan Zhi Zi   (Fructus Gardeniae Jasminoidis, Cape Jasmine Fruit, Gardenia) 6g.

Sheng Di Huang   (Radix Rehmanniae Glutinosae, Chinese Foxglove Root, Rehmannia) 9g.
