General fullness of the chest, distention of the abdomen, poor appetite, loss of taste, bloating aftger each meal, fatigue, palpitations, dizziness, shortness of breath

Tongue – greasy white coating, puffy body

Pulse – wiry, slippery

Medicinal Ingredients of Liu Jun Zi Tang

this formula is made up of Si Jun Zi Tang with the addition of two herbs (Chen Pi and Ban Xia)

Ren Shen (Radix Ginseng, Ginseng Root)

-tonify lung and spleen Qi

Bai Zhu (Rhizoma Atractyloids Macrocephaeiae, Atractylodes (white) Rhizome)

-tonify spleen Qi

Fu Ling (Sclerotium Poriae Cocos, China-root, Poria, Hoelen)

-tonify spleen Qi and dry dampness

Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis, Licorice Root)

-tonify Qi, harmonize

Ban Xia (Rhizoma Pinelliae Tematae, Pinellia Rhizome)

-dries dampness, clears phlegm

Chen Pi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Tangerine Peel, Citrus)

-promotes movement of Qi, strengthen spleen
