Tricia began studying acupuncture during her university years when she attended Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 1993 she earned her Bachelors of Science (Honors) degree in Physical Therapy, then worked in a variety of clinical settings for the National Health Service in Scotland using both acupuncture and physical therapy to treat musculoskeletal disorders.
In the early 2000’s she decided to further her study in acupuncture and earned her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2002. Additionally, the Guangzhou University School of Traditional Chinese Medicine awarded her an advanced certificate in acupuncture and moxibustion following an internship at the University in Guangzhou, China.
Tricia’s practice also has a strong emphasis on treating gynecological conditions and female and male fertility. She has studied with world-renowned practitioners and works with couples attempting to conceive naturally and to support those going through assisted reproductive therapy. Tricia is the Vice President of the Illinois Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is a member of the AAOM. She is board certified by the NCCAOM, and a professional member of RESOLVE (The National Fertility Association.)
