A 3,000-year-old healthcare system that uses natural holistic modalities to diagnose, treat and prevent illness and maintain well-being. Traditional Chinese medicine can effectively treat many common acute and chronic disorders, including: allergies, circulatory and digestive problems, insomnia, migraines, infertility, arthritis and other autoimmune disorders. It is also highly effective in treating stress and anxiety, as well as reducing the side effects of chemotherapy and post-surgical pain. Treatment programs are devised using Traditional Chinese Medicine and conventional medical science in order to maximize therapeutic results for patients. East-West Wellness practitioner Donna Sigmond holds a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese medicine and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition. She is a registered dietitian and is nationally board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM.) and Commission of Dietetic Registration.
