Robert Kienitz, D.Ac., L.Ac.

Robert has over twenty years teaching experience and is former Professor and Dean of Curriculum at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Scottsdale, AZ. While there, he authored “Tai Chi Master” and “Jade Dragon Chi Gong”.

Robert served on the board of directors of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and the Arizona State Association of Oriental Medicine where he co-authored the Acupuncture practice Act for the State of Arizona.

Robert is currently on the Board of Directors and Coastal Regional Representative for the North Carolina Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is a Continuing Education Provider for both the Association and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine teaching, among other things, Ethics and advanced acupuncture techniques.

Robert is currently the Director of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine at the Atlantic Institute and Island Wellness Centers in Wilmington and Carolina Beach, NC, where he practices with his wife Cindy who is a Re-connective Healing, Chinese Nutrition and Chi Gong Specialist. Robert and Cindy also teach Tai Chi, Chi Gong and wellness classes for the City of Carolina Beach and the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.
