However, Dr. Daoshing Ni, D.O.M., L.Ac., Ph.D, combines both practices into a healing program to help make a woman¹s body more responsive to her fertility treatments. Dr. Dao and Dana Herko, co-authors of The Tao of Fertility, speak with host Kim Hahn about this new book, plus the doctor¹s compassionate and natural approach to conception.

Alice Domar from Boston speaks of how complimentary and alternative medicine helps with IVF and Infertility. She expands and sheds light on some of the studies that have been done, including the revolutionary Paulus study that looked at the benefit of acupuncture treatments before and after embryo transfer on the day of transfer. She also touched on some of her research that does not show similar results, admitting she is not sure why only her studies seem to conclude 'no significant benefit to use acupuncture'.

She runs a mind-body program at Boston IVF and also goes through some of the steps and ideas she has on this subject. She is quite a character and definitely worth the listen. This talk took place at CFAS (Canadian Fertility & Andrology Society) annual meeting 2007 in Halifax Nova Scotia Canada.

There were also a couple other speakers worth a listen that touched on CAM:
