Sharon Weizenbaum has been practicing Chinese medicine for over 23 years. She studied extensively with Dr. Shu Rong Zhu, a gynecologist from the Shang Hai College of TCM. Ms. Weizenbuam also completed a 5 month study program in herbal gynecology at the Zhe Jiang College of TCM, Hang Zhou, PRC in 1990. She was a faculty member at the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for two years and has taught seminars nation wide. She studied and apprenticed with Kiiko Matsumoto for 12 years and developed Integrative Mandala Acupuncture as a synthesis of her study with both Chinese and Japanese acupuncture teachers. She also developed a two year graduate level program in Chinese herbology titled "The Graduate Mentorship Program", which she teaches nationally. She is the director of White Pine Healing Arts in Amherst, MA. She is known for her clear, practical and inspiring presentation of clinically applicable material. She is a Diplomat of Herbal Medicine as well as Acupuncture. Sharon is currently a Frances Perkins Scholar at Mt. HolyokeCollege where she is translating her teacher's book on herbal gynecology.
