This podcast deals with some of the more prominent myths regarding the integration of conventional medicine with TCM. Part 1 addresses the issue of defining integration in a way that goes beyond the pedestrian level of simply putting practitioners of different medical systems under one roof. In terms of the historical moment and the vicissitudes of the 21st century, defining integration is actually less confusing and more logical than many authors and teachers seem to make it. Once one has a clear definition, major issues like communication and research methodologies can be intelligently debated. These last two twopics are addressed in part 2.
