The 2009 ABORM Examination will be offered in conjunction with the 2009 Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS) Annual Meeting (www.pcrsonline.org). The PCRS Meeting brings together some of the world’s brightest minds in the field of Reproductive Medicine - both western medicine and TCM, and you will have the opportunity to attend a full four days of plenary sessions, post-doctoral courses, and roundtables devoted to all aspects of Infertility and Reproductive Medicine. CEU’s will be available for courses.
Many of those who attend the PCRS Annual Meeting will be bringing their families and children.

Early Registration Deadline - On or Before October 15th, 2008:

Final Registration Deadline - On or Before December 15th, 2008:
Application and Manual Fee: $115.00. Registration Fee: $850.00
NOTE A: Applicants must have been licensed for two years prior to sitting for the ABORM Examination - All applicants must include with their application, documentation which verifies the date of issue of their license to practice. Applicants may register for the ABORM Examination prior to the two-year minimum as long as their license will have been valid for 2 years prior to taking the Examination.
NOTE B: In addition to being licensed for a minimum of two years prior to sitting for the ABORM Examination, all applicants must have completed a minimum number of hours of course work related to the field of Infertility and Reproductive Medicine as follows:
2009 Exam: 15 hours
2010 Exam: 45 hours
2011 Exam: 60 hours
This course work may be in the realm of western reproductive medicine, oriental reproductive medicine, and so on. These courses should cover a minimum amount of material from each of the 18 categories of competency listed under the Exam Information page. These courses may be live, distance learning, or online. Certificates of completion (CEU Certificates) documenting completion of this coursework must be submitted with the application in order to be processed.

If you have taken other courses related to Infertility and Reproductive Medicine that are not included on this list, please contact the ABORM regarding having the course approved to meet this requirement.
NOTE C: Application/Manual Fee & Registration Fee must be submitted together for Application/Manual and Registration to be approved.
NOTE D: Naturopathic Doctors or Chiropractors who wish to sit for the ABORM exam must include proof of certification from the NCCAOM and proof of acupuncture licensure from their state, or proof of licensure from California State Board in Acupuncture, or a Canadian Acupuncture License from Alberta, Quebec, or British Columbia - and they have been licensed for a minimum of two years before sitting for the examination.
