I'd really like to take a workshop (and buy the appropriate equipment) to do auriculo LASER treatments. But I think it'll be awhile before I can afford a laser. So I'm wondering if I could get some feedback on handheld e-stim units for the ear. What's most effective, easy to maniputate and hopefully affordable? Anybody?

If this is a tool you need to do a treatment you want to focus on in your practice (ear laser) then you must buy the laser. Whether you can afford it or not isn't the issue. Your return on investment is what you should be looking at. Laser $500+/-. $75 per treatment. 6.66 treatments will pay for your laser.
Actually the lasers I've seen were more like $1500 to $3,000...a few more treatments! But I agree with you re: focusing. I'm finding ear acupuncture useful for phantom limb pain, just straight needling, but I would like to step up my protocol and equipment.

Hi I just join the group and found this forum/comment, I do have great experience with all kind of units (I sale ) and I do recommend for lasers SEDATELEC, Next laser Evolution model, +/- USA 2,300 made in France and for electro auricular detection/treatment Pointo Select made by Schwa Medico in Germany, +/- USA 800.00 (compare to USA units at USA 4,000-5000 (Stimoflex )
