Pattern ?

I would think that different patterns would yield different results. I have had good results using Bi-Tong (acupuncture pt) with acute snoring accompanying a damp type pathogen.

What type of pattern does your patient present with ?

snoring: avoid sugar, dairy, wheat & alcohol

before any treatment will really take hold, it may be necessary to get your client/patient off of sugar/pop, alcohol, dairy, and possibly wheat (bread, pasta). I would start here, then move onto other dietary elements that may cause sensitivities and phlegm build-up. I agree with Ryan, lots of facial points, Li 20, Bi Tong, Gb 13, Yintang, etc.. There are also herbals to open the nose which may be tried. Oh Yeah, one last thing, is your patient exercising? This could help drastically. Good luck.
