In your practice and your experience who do you find is consistently the more sensitive of the two?
In my years of practice I have continually found Men to be the most sensitive to Acupuncture while women the "tougher" so too speak. The teenage women can often be very sensitive as well but overall, women complain less about my needling !
have you tried using some sort of Herbal Formula, something like a modifed Xue Fu Zhu Yu Tang ? Having multiple surgeries I would assume there is blood stagnation (trauma) and a deficiency (spleen/kidney). I would be confident if the patient has the time for you to create a specific formula for them you would be able to decrease this pain. What were the surgeries they were going in for? Keep us posted
