I believe raw decoction would win pretty much every time in effectiveness when compared to that of Concentrated powders. Although in my practice I have gone for the simplicity of concentrated powders, I am thinking of switcing to raw herb decoctions in the future. We'll see what happens
The main issues I have with concentrated powders are:
They contain fillers, sometimes talc, corn starch or other agents to make the powder flow easily.

raw vs concentrates
I began with raw....it was a lot of work since I had 2 clinics....
did that for 5yrs....
have been working with only granulations/concentrations (about 4 yrs) and
see I need to make the formulas a little more hefty to get the
effects of raw herbs.
but can't complain, they're so much easier to use & store....
AcuGuru I dont' believe
