asymptomatic glomerulonephritis in MTC

I have a patient who consult me for a asymptomatic glomerulonephritis. After a big fatigue he went two years ago to the doctor. Had some tests revealing blood in urine. They took a biopsie and reveal a glomerulonephritis (too much protein). Since, he is on a severe diet and everything seems right to him. He is taking pills for HBP and Cholesterol. I am treating him in acupuncture and soon I will include herbs. My request is for anyone who had such cases please share your experience with me. Thank's

Diet and Glomerulonephritis

Hello Claudine

What do you mean he is on a "severe" diet ? I don't have much experience treating Glomerulonephritis but I have treated High Blood Pressure and Cholesterol. In those treatments a large part of my treatment is my patients lifestyle. I STRONGLY suggest diet and lifestyle changes. In almost all the cases I have seen the diet, high stress and lack of exercise created these problems, without educating them about the reasons behind their symptoms they are not going to get good results.

Best of Luck

Ryan

glomuleronephritis

Hi Ryan,

thank you for the reply. I will see this patient tomorrow night and I will take exactly the diet he's on. So on wednesday, I will get back to you.

Diet and Glomuleronephritis

Ryan,

The diet of my patient was low in protein, no meat, no gluten etc.

Now he is starting to eat more meat but still no gluten.

That's it,
