Does anyone know the Chinese astrology? It however is closely related to the 5 element cycle. According to the Chinese astrology system one has 2 signs and 1 element, each sign is also related to an element, leaving 1 to max 3 elements in total a person has.
However I have wondered if this stands in any relationship to the constitution a person has. I first analyzed myself for that, after I've learned enough about TCM. Quite surprisingly it matches perfect.
My main pathogen factors troubling me are: Heat, toxic fire, Dampness, Wind. As I have only heat-toxin, dampness and wind factors. To make an example I will use my birth date:
19:89 Year of the Snake, Element Earth
Hour: 03:42 - meaning between 3-4 am the hours of the Tiger.
so:
Snake - Fire sign [ heat ]
Tiger - Wood(wind) sign [ Wind ]
element - Earth [ dampness ]
However this is my case. I would really like to go deeper into this and know if this is a coincidence or there is really something to it.
First of all I'd like your opinion to this.
Second i' m asking anyone if hes willing to give me his birth year and hour and his pathogenic factors [ Wind, heat, dampness, phlegm, cold ]. It would be really interesting to know if this really stands in relationship or not. And if yes, this may actually be worth an diagnosis method, since it could give a practitioner a better picture of the pathogenic factors bothering the patient.
