Great Herbal formula App for I phone users - must have.

This is a great App for your I phone. All of the docs at our clinic have downloaded this herbal formula app to our I phone. I love the search features, and they have set it up so you can search it from so many angles, so well thought out. Anyone else download this app and find it useful? My favorite part is the modifications they include with each formula and the fact that it allows you to save your own tips and points you may have picked up about formulas through courses and clinical experience.

I did some digging and found out that Danny Johnson created this great tool. Good job Danny. From our conversation, I understand it took Danny between 2-3 years to develop it. Anyway, if you are looking for a great Chinese medicine app for your I phone I give this one a 5 out of 5 star rating.

Anyone have other great apps related to TCM to share for us I phone users?

I use this daily now and I add my own notes into it as well. Thanks again Danny for making an affordable app for practitioners.

And for those that do not have iPhones need not feel left out there is also a CD-ROM from which this was originally created and it is called "TCM Formula Finder" and also includes another section on it called "Clinic Buddy" in order to keep yet another section of notes and create your own database as well that further expands the applicability and range of this great creation. I have been usuing it for a few years now and love it....much quicker than trying to find things in books at times. Another big plus is that you can also add in your own formula(e) to further expand and personalize this. A few years ago my participation in this project was to add the Chinese characters into it to also help those learning Chinese as well as those Chinese practitioners learning the "English"-side of TCM. A GREAT PRODUCT and well worth the money and checking out regardless of whether you have and iPhone or just want a CD-ROM based version for the computer. No clinic/practitioner should be without it....indispensible.
