This looks very interesting. A full day webinar about fertility and earn 9 CEU's all from my house ?

Great speakers are lined up, would love to just tune in and watch.

how do I earn the CEU's ? how do they know I actually attended the course and not just registered for this ?

How to earn CEU's easily

Hi,

Good questions. My answer applies to the CEU approved webinars and not the free 1 hour webinars on www.healthstream.tv

The Full day webinar is run through Pro D Seminars which a CEU approved provider for NCCAOM, NCCAOM, California, ABORM, Florida and British Columbia.

You are correct, you cannot just eran CEU's by just registering and your regulatory boards have thought about this too. They require providers who offer on line and webinar courses to also have an assessment tool and feedback form completed at the end of the seminar.

Since Pro D seminars webiste is automated, when you register for any online or webinar course you aslo create an account. Inside your account you find instructions for your courses plus at the end of watching the online or participating in a live webinar, a feeback form and quiz to be completed. Your CEU certificate will automatically be generated in your account. You can choose to leave it there until you want to print it or you can download it immediately to your computer and print it at your leisure.
For live webinars you have 3 days to comeplet the quiz and feedback form. The time is short because it is live and so we need you to complete the course in a timely manner by doing your quiz ASAP.

On line courses are recorded and you have 120 days to watch and complete them before access to the powerpoint and audio expires. There is no interaction with the presenter or colleagues. These tend to be larger courses as from 4 to 23 CEU so much longer time is allocated.
Both require no travle cost or lost clinic time. Live webinars allow you to interact with your colleagues and presenter. Think of webinars as a typical live course but just no travel or parking needed plus an added assessment tool to make sure you do attend.

Lastly, watching the seminar and type chatting with everyone is done on your computer through the web including the assessment tool and feedback form. As mentioned above, even your certificate is generated online in your account so instantaneous CEU's.
