The interpretation of the radial pulse characteristics is an integral aspect of the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I had the privilege of spending some wonderful time with Dr. Will Morris this past weekend, a man that has spent 30 years deeply studying how traditional cultures (European, Japanese, Chinese, Indian) have used the pulse to paint a picture of human health & disease.
I just wanted to share a few words from an ancient medical sage Sun Simiao about taking care of oneself, yang sheng (nourishing life), and these principles being necessary to become immortal (i.e. healthy enough to carry on your family line for generations)...

Pediatric fever:s usually are high at night, then early in the morning it comes down. If the childs heartbeat is still high and there is no appetite then the fever will be coming back, probably by noon again. use thermometer (add 1 degree if underarm).
