My name is Eric Vander Wal, and I am a Director of Acupuncture Without Borders Canada. I am asking for the communities help.

Acupuncture Without Borders Canada is a humanitarian organization committed
to bringing self-reliant health care to impoverished communities. We seek to
provide impoverished regions with the skills they need to care for
themselves. After undertaking our training program, community practitioners
will be well equipped to provide the local population with much needed
access to basic health care and a better standard of living.

We are currently a registered non-profit organization, but in order to raise
operating funds we must obtain charity status! We've made great progress,
but still have $3,000 to go! To raise this money we need your vote! It costs
you nothing but 5 minutes of your time!

For Acupuncture Without Borders Canada (AWB Canada), to fundraise the
necessary costs, our organization needs Charity Status. This can be tricky
because of the stigmatism of fundraising administration costs. So why help
us with admin costs? Simple, for us to create sustainable health care, we
need to create a sustainable program. Only through charity status can AWB
Canada raise the necessary funds over the long haul through grants, large
private donors, and corporate sponsors.
