TCM Community is Important During Tough Economic Times

Chinese Medicine Tools ImageSince the times of Huang Di Nei Jing, practitioners of Chinese medicine have seemed to instinctualy understood the need to share their knowledge to further the medicine. The same applies during difficult economic times, we must share and support one another so that TCM as a whole will survive and thrive.

This is not a time to hide in your TCM clinic cave and hope these tough times will pass. It is a time when we must come together, share new ideas and find better ways to work with each other. We are a community of wonderful people, wishing to give the gift of TCM to all that could deeply benefit from it. We are entering a new era. Together with the American president elect, we can help change the world, if only we can adopt the essential new mentality, *share*grow*connect*.

Over production of prolactin, infertility and amenorrhoea

Dear all, I wonder whether anyone can offer any ideas about this new patient? The patient is a 32yo female. She has been trying to conceive for a year and a half. She has a history of amenorrhoea. She is over-producing prolactin and has been producing what she calls 'discharge' from her breasts for 1 year now. She is taking Cabergoline medication to reduce the prolactin levels. This stimulates her menstrual cycle. She came off the pill in June 07. She had her first menstrual cyle in Jan 08 (stimulated by the medication) .. (more)
