Man & Pregnancy: week 19

Oh boy,...almost 1/2 way! The detailed ultrasound went amazing,...baby posed perfectly for the camera, and the already proud parents were told that our baby was 'perfect',...yes, that's right, 'perfect'!!!!!!!! Also, not sure if I mentioned that the triple screen was also, 'perfect', no worries about problems with baby, whew! What should a man do for the queen as a tolken of appreciation for growing such a wonderful baby??? Well, I started with a Full french Manicure and pedicure,...partly because I love it, it makes hot mama even hotter, and because it is never the wrong time for helping preggo queen feel beautiful. As for material gifting,...this will remain a secret because I think the queen reads this blog sometimes, just to continue to make sure she has the greatest man on earth! So, basically, very few worries for the next while,...all is well.

Baby is now measured head to toe, not head to rump,...so, 10 inches is approx. what baby can stretch to in mama's womb. It also starts to drink the amniotic fluid. I am told this drinking starts to form baby's first poop, which does not come out until after baby is born, kinda like a cat bringing its prey to its master. Yes baby stores about 20 weeks of strange dark poop in itself so it can give mom and dad their first gift. I am also told this is a gift that all are thankful for that it only ever happens one time. How great that first poop must feel after holding for 5 months,...ahhhhh bliss!

It is also truly time to get back into that exercise regime, no more excuses, both man and queen. No need to put on any extra weight in this already food-full time of life. Eating well is also of paramount importance,...the family needs to get healthy so all can flourish post-partum. Men, lead by example, do not push but compassionately encourage mama to move more now. this will help sleep, mood, digestion, and libido!!!

In closing, what can I say,...life is good.
