Blood-pressure changes with acupuncture comparable to ACE-inhibitor monotherapy

Compared with a sham procedure, regular acupuncture over a six-week period lowered systolic and diastolic blood pressure from baseline by 5.4 mm Hg and 3.0 mm Hg, respectively.
