An Tai Yin has many modifications which make it more suited for specific conditions of kidney deficiency. If there is excessive amounts (large amount) of vaginal bleeding the addition of Xian He Cao, Han Lian Cao and Huang Qi will produce better results. If the abdominal pain associated with restless fetus is severe the danger of miscarriage may be greater and the herbs Sheng Ma and Huang Qi should be added.
